I’ve mentioned before how much I love it when my brides have babies. I shot Emma and Chris’s Beaufort wedding before I started this blog, so to give you an idea of how adorable and in love they were on their wedding day, I’ve included a few photos of their album.
Now imagine how happy I was to hear that they’d had a little boy. 
I met Grey and we did some family portraits in downtown Beaufort just before Christmas. Isn’t he cute?

More testimonial portraits from happy Saluda River Club residents! Meet the Street family, who lucked into one of the prettiest December skies I’ve seen for their shoot. I love the way these turned out! We had some fun with sidewalk chalk and some giant fall leaves, and then wandered down to take a family portrait on their pretty front porch.

The problem with blogging in chronological order…and being behind on it…is that it has delayed this very happy announcement.
In the five years that I’ve been shooting weddings, if I’ve shot yours, there’s a 99% John was shooting with me. On December 10, 2011, John married the most amazing girl and moved to Toronto. I miss him like crazy, especially now that wedding season is picking up, but I can’t deny, he looks pretty happy:

Another November Saluda River Club testimonial shoot is finally hitting the blog. The Gallaghers wanted to switch things up and do a night portrait for their session, so we had fun with some sparklers and the SRC Christmas decorations.

Today’s post features the Graham family’s Saluda River Club testimonial portraits. When we shot this session, they were just about ready to move into their beautiful new house in the River District. So we did a few on their front porch and in their pretty backyard before heading to the rive. This family definitely had some fun with their session.
Check out Cullen. His expressions are just so adorable. The half grin and wide eyes are going to be hard to resist when he gets a little older. I was really excited to do his portrait since his parents are amazingly sweet. Remember Betsy and Scott’s wedding? I love it when I get to see a family grow.
