Johnny Jeffcoat – County Councilman [Lexington, SC Photographer]

I was pleased to be able to shoot some family and general campaign photos for Johnny Jeffcoat, Lexington County Councilman, to use in his reelection campaign. You’ve seen some of his family on the blog before…as you can see, I’m a big fan of the Jeffcoat family. :) I’ve shared a few of my favorites below. Be sure to go out and vote on June 1!

Ashley and Justin [Columbia, SC Wedding Photographer]

I’m excited to share a few of my favorites from Ashley and Justin’s Wintergreen Woods wedding. This was my first time shooting at the venue, and I loved it. The ceremony location is just so pretty, all surrounded by flowers and greenery. Ashley and Justin were adorable and seemed totally relaxed all day. I love the image of Ashley and her bridesmaids practicing the dance to Party Rock Anthem while they’re getting ready. And yes, they busted it out during the reception…and it was fantastic. Congrats, guys!

And be sure to check out their engagement story on PoptheQ!

Below are some of my favorite portraits from my session with Jeremy Whisennant and his family in Virginia Hylton Park in Lexington, SC.  Jeremy is the boot camp instructor in my neighborhood, and has been whipping me into shape for two years now.  If you’re looking for a trainer, I’d highly recommend contacting Jeremy…email him at trainrightfitness@gmail.com.

I shot Ashley and Nate’s sweet Myrtle Beach wedding on Friday, so now I’m so excited that I can share Ashley’s gorgeous bridal portraits. We met up at the Marriott Grand Dunes  to shoot about a month before the wedding…and here are just a few of my favorites. :)

I love that I’m always finding new and beautiful places to shoot at Saluda River Club when we do resident testimonial sessions. The Holts told me that they really enjoy the walking trails, so we went to the far corner of the property to take some photos. I love that they brought their dog, and I was amazed when they told me she walks all the trails…she’s so tiny, that’s got to take some serious energy!

Last June, I shot portraits of Katelyn, and I was so excited to shoot with her again. She’s grown out of the shyness from last year and her outgoing personality is just adorable. She ran, jumped, and grinned her way through the session. Here are just a few of my favorites.

You’ve seen Hudson’s cute face on the blog before. Now he’s back for his first birthday pictures, complete with a really pretty smash cake that he really didn’t want to smash. These are a few of my favorites from the session.

Today, I’m excited to share Amber and Levi’s beautiful Savannah wedding. Held at the Trustee’s Garden downtown, the couple incorporated all sorts of great details, from button bouquets from Etsy, to owls decorating the reception, to an old-school Nintendo set up in the back room that matched the groom’s cake. And you know I’m all for a couple that walks back down the aisle to the Mario theme song! :) Here are just a few of my favorites from their day.

The Bullocks [Saluda River Club Testimonial Portraits]

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the Bullocks testimonial portrait session for Saluda River Club. The Bullocks moved into one of the adorable cottages in the Village District, and since they’re big into cooking, they designed the kitchen to suit their needs and even adapted the study into a large pantry to store their ingredients and cookware. Great use of space!
