As promised, here are a few of my favorite images from the Dunbars’ maternity session in November.

I’m excited to have another two-day series of posts. Today, I’m posting the Dunbars Saluda River Club portrait session for their resident testimonial. Tomorrow, I’ll share their maternity portraits. If you know them, you know I’m late enough posting this that little Douglas is already here. But that won’t stop me from sharing. :)

I love this family.  Not only are they fabulous neighbors (and photogenic!), their enthusiasm for this shoot was amazing. It’s a tough thing to carve out time for a family portrait with three kids…and they brought their A game. Without further ado, the Glad family’s Saluda River Club portrait session for the resident testimonial portraits.

I’m excited to share a fall Saluda River Club portrait session for the resident testimonial page.  I was so glad we were able to show off both Ryan’s townhouse and the fall colors by the river at the Chickawa Center in his session. Check it out!

We’ve finally made it to November shoots! And I started the month with Dyanna and Kevin’s lovely maternity shoot in Forsyth Park in Savannah. As we were shooting, I asked them how they met, and they laughed. It seems they knew each other (but didn’t date) when they were younger, then they reconnected online while Kevin was deployed. They got married, then he deployed again, and then they got pregnant…and at the time of the shoot, he was preparing to deploy again. Kevin told me that their joke is that when he gets back, they’ll finally date. :)

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Olivia multiple times…since pre-RBP blog, so I can’t even link to all my favorites. (But check her out here…cutie.) For this year’s portraits, we had a bit of a theme. Olivia’s into animals, horses especially. And she has no fear. Even after a nip on the finger from a pony, she bounced back and was holding chickens and brushing horses. I’m thinking she might be a vet when she grows up…

Three seconds later...chomp. :(

This is Finn, the second most amazing dog ever. (My dog has to win, of course.)

As promised, here are just a few of my favorite images from Kerry and Chris’s Tybee Island wedding. They really thought of every detail and it made for a beautiful day. I have to say, I was most impressed by their first dance. That definitely made me want to take shag lessons. :) Congrats you guys!

I get to show this next wedding in two posts. Today, we have Kerry and Chris’s lovely Tybee Island rehearsal dinner. If you follow the blog, you might remember them from their super cute engagement session with their pup. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Tybee Island Shrine Club. I’d driven by it before, but never knew it was a venue for events. And what a gorgeous venue it was, with views of the lighthouse and the ocean at sunset. The details and scenery were gorgeous, but the real treat was seeing the bride- and groom-to-be. They just radiated happiness and excitement. And with the beautiful wedding to come the next day, it’s no surprise. Stay tuned, their wedding will be up for all to see in tomorrow’s post.

Apparently, not everyone was feeling the bagpipes:

Julianne and Ronnie’s sweet wedding is up on the blog today. The ceremony was beautiful. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the group after Julianne’s brother walked her down the aisle and toasted her at the reception. And what a reception it was! A beautiful tent with chandeliers, sofas, even an ice cream bar (all coordinated by Amanda Rose Weddings). And most importantly, a group of people making full use of the dance floor.  These are just a few of the shots I wanted to share.

I may have mentioned this before, but my neighborhood boasts some pretty gorgeous moms and babies. I was so excited to do Katharine’s maternity shots and (not too long after) Evie’s newborn shots. Just look how pretty they both are! And we had a cameo appearance by McLean, too!
